<aside> đź’ˇ HelpU is an app designed to assist busy users in locating helpers for tasks such as daily chores, repairing household items, and fulfilling other household service needs.
The helpers available through our app are certified and can provide proof of their skills. To ensure user safety, their identities are thoroughly verified before they can start working for clients. Clients also have the option to rate and review the helpers who have provided services to them.

I also went for the simple, modern and sleek look for this design. The reasons are also the same. I love the idea of keeping things clean and uncluttered, I want the users to focus on the functionality of the app without getting distracted by the design.

âť“Â What led me to take on this project?
Based on my own time as an international student, balancing homework, a social life, and a part-time job while trying to keep my space tidy was a real challenge. Handling everyday chores like laundry and dishes was doable, but when assignments piled up or things needed fixing, I found myself needing assistance. It's not as simple as it sounds to find help while living abroad.
So, I want to create a solution for people facing similar challenges to easily and quickly find the help they need. An app would be super handy, connecting me with folks who can tackle the job and come over pronto. It's crucial to have someone certified, verified, or recommended by a friend so that I don't have to stress about inviting a stranger into my space.
❓ Why aren’t the current solution working?
When I need a hand, I usually end up asking friends if they know someone or dive into Facebook groups like 'Cleaning Jobs' for my city. Sure, people respond and offer help, but more often than not, these supposed helpers don't show up when they say they will. It's a bit of a hassle, not to mention sketchy.
