Why I named it Temu?
In Bahasa, "Temu" is a versatile word—it can mean met, discovered, come across, but most importantly, it means found. I went with Temu with the dream that users could meet, or rather, find, what they're looking for. We've all been there, right? Scrolling through IG or TikTok, spot something cool, and then it's like trying to find Waldo in a sea of pixels. Enter Temu. My goal is to make the search for that needle in the haystack feel more like a stroll in the park.
I created this design because I really love the simple, modern, and sleek look on mobile applications. The idea is to keep things clean and uncluttered, with minimalism for that timeless look. I also want the users to focus on the functionality of the app rather than the looks. I want users to dive into the app without getting distracted by flashy stuff, creating an experience that's all about what the app can do rather than just how it looks.
